The trailer of Chiyaan Vikram’s Bheema is now all over the media. After it was initially released on Kalaingar TV, Karunamoorthy of Ayngaran International viewed it. The trailer, which runs for 4 minutes 30 seconds is absolutely fantastic, offering an enticing peek into the movie.

Karunamoorthy, impressed with the film, requested A.M. Rathnam, producer of Bheema to allow him to screen the trailer along with the mega release of Ajith’s Billa. Rathnam immediately accepted the offer. So now, audiences can get to see the Bheema trailer in 72 theatres across the world.

The practice is not very new in industry circles. Though initiated by Hollywood, Yash Raj Films followed this in all their releases. Also the trailer of UTV’s big-budget Hrithik- Aishwarya starrer Jodha Akbar was shown along with Shahrukh Khan’s Om Shanti Om. Superstar Rajnikanth’s upcoming animation film Sultan - The Warrior trailer was screened along with Sivaji theatre prints.

Big releases get delayed due to unexpected reasons. If this practice is regularly followed in Kollywood, it will help to satisfy fans curiosity and whet their appetite, in addition to making the screening mutually beneficial for stars and distributors. Sources add that works of the new project start once Vikram completes Kandasamy, which is directed by Susi Ganesan and produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu. Shreya is acting opposite Vikram in it.

The Vikram-Shriya starrer Kandhasamy is directed by Susi Ganesan and the shooting is going on in full rock now. Monsoon which is playing in Tamil Nadu now has been a blessing for the Kandasamy team.

So the director has decided to save an non-natural studio rain and shoot a scene where Vikram gets wet in the rain with the natural ongoing monsoon. The shooting was held on Chennai’s East Cost Rd. Vikram’s father Vinoth Raj is to play an imperative role in the film Kandasamy.

Antharu is the name of the movie in the Kannada industry which is a remake of the movie Pithamagan, a hit movie in Kollywood. With Vikram and Suriya doing the lead roles, Sangeetha and Laila were paired with them. In the Kannada movie Upendra and Darshan are handling the lead roles and Radhika is the female lead. With sources confirming that the movie would be directed by Hari, who earlier directed Vikram in a straight cop’s role in Saami, it is said Trisha would be one of the heroines.
However, Vikram is not ready to confirm the news. He says, ‘though it is true that we had a conversation about the project, nothing has been finalised. This is not the suitable time to reveal what we have discussed.’

Now it has become the development for remakes. Ajith is acting in the remake of Rajini’s yesteryear’s chartbuster ‘Billa’. Now it is the turn of Vikram to act in the remake of another chartbuster of Rajini ‘Moondru Mugam’.
